Well, at least Half Life 2 works almost perfectly. Just got some font issues to patch up. BIT BY BIT, I MAKE SLOPPY PORTS OF VALVE GAMES RUN ON MY MAC.

I like to think that my last post was so amazing, it prompted 36Holla to lock the thread, so that people who posted after me wouldn't be embarrassed by how crappy their post was in comparison.

Just thought I'd clue you into on a couple magic little codes I got here.
For anyone who plays Battlefield Heros, and didn't shell out the 15 bucks for Battlefield 1943, I have the promo codes to unlock the Aviator Cap and Aviator Goggles (It will, supposedly, unlock the hats for both factions).
These got emailed to everyone with a registered copy of Battlefield: 1943, so don't think you'll be getting some super 1337 uber rare headgear, but I'm giving them away anyways, since I sure wont be using them with my Macintosh. :O
Hit me up with a comment if you want 'em, or maybe even just one of them (although I don't know which code unlocks which item).

And boy, was that the best decision of my day.
I got Myst, Wolfenstein 3D, and one of The Who's albums, Who Are You (Remastered Edition) for $15.
Not only that, but apparently giftcards bought from the self service kiosk at my local grocery store don't have a sales tax on them.

Fucking excellent, this just made my week. :D

And I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed it, in an ironic sense.
Whether it was holding back the urge to yell, "IT'S THE ARABIC GUY", during the subway scene, or laughing at Nicholas Cages baseball bat antics (you want some o' this!!??!), this movie was a laugh - a minute, but in a way that the good folks who made it ever imagined it would.

Also, didn't anyone see anything a little weird with the "Whispering People". Like, that they chose to dress themselves up as blonde haired, and probably blue eyed white gentlemen, wearing all black trench coats? Or, that they only chose to save two WHITE children, who came from less - than destitute families?
Robot Nazis? I thought so, too.

AND IT WAS PROBABLY THAT HORSE - FACED RIG, TOO.
